| FlatCon
is a gaming extravaganza hosted at Shirk Athletic
Center of Illinois Wesleyan University in
Bloomington, Illinois. Roleplaying, miniature,
board, and card games and tournaments from a wide
variety of genres will be represented and
demonstrated. Vendors will range from Anime to
gaming to fantasy gifts to comics and back.

Our volunteer staff gave away lots of door prizes from local and gaming hobby
sponsors. Thank you to our sponsors for such

Hottest FlatCon Ever!
|
|
Year 3 is over. This was the "hottest"
FlatCon ever. Quite literally. FlatCon
and the University are promoting FlatCon 4 (in 2003) as
the "coolest" FlatCon ever.
Despite the extreme heat of the weekend the
convention was a huge success. We had 300 gamers
and 20 vendors. Media coverage from local radio,
newspaper, and TV. The new convention hall layout
was incredible. So be prepared, very prepared for
a much cooler FlatCon 4. See you next year.
