A War PIGs tournaments are both fun and easily.  Here's how Chris Clark will be running this one:

1) Each player that wants to "drop in" is given 250 points to spend on a squad of guys (some mechanized equipment will also be available). New players will place their guys at the start of each turn. I will bring terrain and about 500 PIGs as well as a nice selection of tanks, APCs, paratroops, artillery and AT guns, etc. At 250 points, no one will be able to afford mechanized equipment to start with...

2) Each time one of your army's units kills another players unit (single unit, not squad) you get a d6 of appropriations from your government. These can be spent at the start of every turn for new guys! In addition, two ormore strategic locations will be placed on the battlefield... with the player that is in sole control of any of these locations being granted an additional 3d6 appropriation. "Sole control" will be defined as, "the only unit within three inches of the strategic location". Should more than one player have units within three inches, the dividend will be split between all players
that have units within three inches. 

3) The winner will be the player that defeats all others by the end of the session. after an hour's break, a new session will be slated to start. The winner gets to keep their entire army! Plus a free copy of My First Miniatures Game, and Very Large Creature.
