Miniatures

Players:

Up to 40 players in 20 teams.

Player Experience Level:

Experienced

Rules:

Total points for a team is 2,250 points

Each member will have 1,125 points

The HQ limit is a hard limit, extra or fewer HQ is not allowed (example Space Wolves, only need 1 HQ per player). Units that do not take up a slot (examples: IG Priest, Black Templar Emperor's Champion) are still allowed/required per codex.

0-1 limits on units will be enforced per team (example 2 Chaos Space Marines armies may only have 1 chaos lord).

Required units just need to be in one player's list, if both players are using same codex. (example, Ork Warboss only needs to be in one players list). If 2 different codexes are in use, then each player's force must be a legal list on its own (HQ limit, still in effect).

Special army rules that modify number of available slots available is allowed but the 0-2 Elite, 0-2 Fast, 0-2 Heavy is still in effect, the 2-4 troops may be raised beyond 4. Both players do not need to play from the same codex for slot modifications to be allowed.

In general, if both players are using the same codex use 1 force org chart with codex restrictions in place. If both players are using different codexes then each army in the team must be valid on its own.

Scoring:

Total of: 200 possible points

Entrance fee:

$10 per player in addition to FlatCon admission. (see above)

Other Rules:

Imperial Armor units (but not army lists) may be used with the following exceptions: Flyers, Super Heavies, Super Heavy Fliers, Tyranid Monstrosities, or anything with Mass Points or structure points are NOT allowed. If you choose to use Imperial Armor units, you MUST bring a copy of their rules for each of your opponents to review and a copy for the judge with your army lists. If not rules are provided, judges will pull models from the battle-field with no replacements allowed.

A copy of the team’s army list MUST be submitted to judges for theme points to be awarded. And a copy should be carried with you for any opponents to review at their leisure.

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). If you wish to use an item, it must be represented on the figure.

All models must be painted with minimum of 3 colors.

Non-GW, Forgeworld models are allowed, but must be pre-approved by the judge 2 weeks prior to the tournament (last day is Sept 15th by 5pm central time. Non-approved models will be removed from lists with NO replacement allowed. Email photo of model(s) to judge at orkboss@gmail.com

You must bring all materials needed to play your army including dice, measuring devices, templates, models, calculators, and any rules that you will be using will be available for judges and opponent clarifications.

If the Codex is available for your army you must use it and have it with you during all games, along with a copy of your army list for use as a judge's reference. A new codex must be available separately for 2 weeks prior to the event to be used. Since no new Codex are looking available, this is probably moot.
