The Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau website is full of local information on how to get here and all of the great things to do. We have all sorts of restaurants from standard American to ethnic like Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, and Indian. (Getting pizza or even hotwings and burgers delivered is no problem, too!) And, if you want a night off of gaming to unwind, check out our nightlife featuring dozens of nightclubs and pubs featuring local musical talent playing everything from Jazz to Dance to Rock. (Of course, these distractions would eat into gaming time, eh?)

Site and Navigation Changes

(August 2, 2006) We've rearranged the Navigation Links to make it easier to find information and the stuff you need. The top 4 links get you quickly to the home page, our sponsors, event listings, and this news page. All of the registration is together now and the GM Registration form is now gone. Simply go to the Event Submission Form to create an event for FlatCon 2006. Schedule and Venue Info now includes all of the other info you need to know for this year's con. All of the old 2005 pages were moved to one site listed with the previous FlatCon links at bottom. The faithful webmaster is still testing for screwed up links so if you find any problems, email him at webmaster@flatcon.com.

Registration is Open for FlatCon 2006!

That's right; registration is now open for the gaming extravaganza known as FlatCon 2006! We hired some freakishly smart Web coder guys to create a fancy, new online registration system, too! To attend FlatCon 2006, start at the Attendee Registration page, fill it out and follow the instructions. It's so super simple a drunken cave troll could do it! And, you get a free raffle ticket for each month on the calendar before FlatCon's opening on September 29 that you pre-register. (Register by June 30, get 4 free tickets; register by July 31, get 3 tickets, and so on!)

But, wait! There's more! Feel like running an event? Head over to the Add Event Form as often as needed to create events to run! Our freakishly smart code guys even created an Event Listing form so you can view events by name, date/time, game type, or even GM name! (No more creating listings by hand for this poor Webmaster. My kids may not forget who I am this year!)

And, where would FlatCon be without our cool exhibit hall vendors! If you want to set up a booth at FlatCon 2006, go to the Vendor Registration page to sign up and pick out the package that works for you.

The FlatCon 2006 Staff are ready to roll and glad to have you join us for Central Illinois' coolest, in a geeky sort of way, gaming/anime/sci-fi/fantasy/minis con!

Pictures from FlatCon 2005!
