Silent Auction Complete Guidelines

Please, (carefully read these Auction Guidelines(PDF) before selling or buying auction items..)

Seller Guidelines Highlights and Important Notes:

A listing fee of $3 will be charged per seller. Once the listing fee is paid, the seller may submit up to 10 lots. Beyond that, it is $3 for each additional 10 lots. The proceeds of the listing fee will be donated to Gamers for Life.

Optional: Sellers have the opportunity to donate the proceeds of their auctioned items to Gamers for Life. If they wish to list a lot as a charity item, a special sticker will be placed on the bidding sheet indicating that the proceeds for that lot will be donated to Gamers for Life.

For auctions not designated as charity lots, the full proceeds of the auction to go the seller.

Sellers may list both charity lots and normal lots.

Sellers may select a minimum bid. Minimum bids may not be adjusted once bidding has begun for an item. Please try to set realistic bids for your items.

Items may be dropped off Saturday any time after the convention opens.

Proceeds from completed auctions and unsold items may be picked up Saturday, October 22nd, between 7:30pm – 11:00pm.

Any auction proceeds or unsold items NOT picked up by Saturday at 11:00pm will be donated to Gamers for Life.

Buyer Guidelines Highlights and Important Notes:

Buyers must register their name and badge number with the auction prior to bidding.

By bidding on an item you are committing to buy it if you are the highest bidder. Do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Please do not erase any of your bids once you have placed them.

Money will be collected for winning bids Saturday between 7:00pm – 9:00pm. (Cash is preferred. Checks can be accepted if the Seller is willing to accept them. Buyers should check with Sellers before bidding on an item if the Buyer wants to pay with a check.) You are responsible for checking to see if you were the winning bidder for any items you bid on, and paying for them during the allotted time. You will receive your items immediately upon payment.
